Typecast Engineering Limited was established in 1998. We manufacture genuine bespoke aluminium composite Alfin® brakedrums of the highest quality for both race and road use. Our dedicated team of designers and engineers take pride in producing Alfin® brakedrums for some of the most prestigious and unique automobiles in the world from Bentleys to Ferraris, including specials such as the Volpi and Kieft. However, our extensive archive of drawings and specifications ranges from Alfas to Vauxhalls.

Our Alfin® brakedrums are used all over the world and are instrumental in the success of the winners of the Mille Miglia, the Peking to Paris rally, Goodwood and the Spa 8 hour endurance race.
