Our aluminium brakedrums are available in sizes from 8” to 16” internal diameter, in widths of up to 3” from stock liners. Other dimensions can be provided upon request.
We specialise in bespoke aluminium brakedrums – any custom design can be catered for.

DESIGN

Each aluminium brakedrum is carefully designed to match the customers’ requirements, whether the customer has a high performance race car or a weekend road car. By using our own collection of drawings or by having detailed drawings made from the customers’ sample brakedrum, we can manufacture a set of brakedrums exactly to the customers’ specification.

THE LINERS

The liners of our aluminium brakedrums are made from modified grade 17 cast iron, which have been designed and rigorously tested under the harshest of conditions. These are mechanically sealed into an aluminium casting of suitable dimensions for the finished brakedrum. This procedure renders axial and/or circumferential movement impossible.

THE CASTINGS

The castings for our brakedrums are made from high grade aluminium and are therefore much lighter than their original cast iron or steel plate counter parts. We also carry Certificates of Conformity on all castings made, to ensure the aluminium is of the highest quality.

MANUFACTURE

Machining is carried out to precise and high standards, which ensures a perfect fit first time and every time and guarantees the best possible performance in the long term.
