One of the most unique features of our brakedrums is the cooling fins machined into the outside circumference.
These fins work as heat sinks, maximizing the surface area in contact with the air and therefore cooling the brakedrum far more rapidly.
This is especially important in competition cars as brake fade is significantly reduced.

There are three types of fins available:

• Straight radial fins,
• Tapered radial fins, and
• Turbo fins (which allows for greater air circulation.)

The choice of fin specification that is most suitable depends on the design and intended application which can be discussed with our experienced technical team.
